Halau Hula Napuaokalei'ilimaRenowned kumu hula (master hula teacher), Kehau Chrisman, moved to Arizona from O'ahu with her husband, Ka'imiloa Chrisman, in 2003 and began conducting hula classes in Northern Arizona. Her hula halau (Napuaokalei'ilima) has grown every year since, and now consists of approximately 50 members, 35 of whom performed at the annual Arizona Aloha Festival in Tempe, Arizona on March 14, 2009.
