* On July 20, 2013, the renowned Hawaiian musical group, Hapa, performed to a sold out crowd at the Orpheum Theater in Flagstaff, Arizona. Kehau Chrisman, Kumu Hula of Halau Hula Napuaokalei'ilima, choreographed and performed the hula for the title song, of Hapa's new Album, Tuahine. The halau performed three other dances on stage with Hapa.

Rolling Stone Magazine names Hapa the "Titans of the new Hawaiian genre." The New York Times wrote that Hapa is "the most successful group from Hawaii in recent history." Billboard Magazine calls them "Hawaii's Hottest Group." Their ground breaking album, Hapa, was released twenty years ago and remains the best selling Hawaiian album of all time.
